Simran is an Indian filmmaker based in Toronto. She started her career in year 2014 as a Content Writer for 104.8 FM with renowned radio host RJ Rahul Makin. She graduated with an Honors Degree in Multimedia and Mass Communication from Delhi University, India.

 

After an inclination towards the Film and Television industry, in the year 2018, she enrolled herself in the Advanced Filmmaking and Video Production program in Durham College, Ontario to expose herself to the craft of Filmmaking. She is now operational in the Toronto Film and Television Industry. She has worked in the Assistant Director Department in several short films, music videos and documentaries. Apart from being a crew member in indie films, Simran works as a Casting Agent for Toronto's top casting agencies and has provided great talent to Toronto Commercial industry. Currently,  Simran is enrolled in the Guild Apprenticeship Program of Directors Guild Of Canada.
